Antonio Pires III, of Cumberland, Passes at 58

Antonio Pires III, 58, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Saturday, October 9, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of Linda (Boudreau) Pires, happily married for 32 years.

Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Antonio and Esperanza (Ramonett) Pires.

Tony was a sprinkler fitter, belonging to the Pipefitters Union, Local 669.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Nicole (son-in-law Kyle Parfitt), Ashley, Lauren, and Tara. He is also survived by his three beloved grandchildren, Justin, Ryan, and Madison. His loyal furry companion, Luna Marie will miss him dearly and their many trips to Dunkin’. 

Tony leaves behind many friends, most of whom he met at the Pawtucket Food Mart. He loved spending time with his family, going on vacation, and playing keno. He had an amazing personality and a great sense of humor along with the ability to make people laugh. He was also an avid sports fan who loved the New England Patriots. 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 16th at 10 am in Saint Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland.  

Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

Visiting hours Friday from 4-7 pm in the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
