Ann Birute (Navakauskas) Gilbert, of Coventry, Passes at 71

Ann Birute (Navakauskas) Gilbert, 71, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 4, 2021, by the side of her loving husband of 50 years, Arthur Gilbert. 

Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Kazys and Jane E. (Hannah) Navakauskas. 

Ann enjoyed reading a good book, planting flowers of all kinds in her garden, cooking for her friends and family, and above all, she loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family.

Ann was the loving mother of Kathryn Kielty, her husband Peter, and Andrew Gilbert. Sister of Jennie Gervelis, Maryte Leamy, Kris Geary, Valerie Sheehan, John Navakauskas, and Regina Cournoyer; loving grandmother of Shane Kielty. 

 

Committal prayers and burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich, will be private.
