Alice (Grechoski) Antonaccio of West Warwick Dies at 96

Alice (Grechoski) Antonaccio, 96, a lifelong resident of West Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Westview Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 72 years Vincent R. “Jim” Antonaccio in 2017. Alice was a daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Waleryszak) Grechoski.

 

Alice was employed at the former Davidson Brothers Textile mill for many years before retiring from Amtrol Inc. in 1988. Alice enjoyed gardening, but mostly spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren.

She was the mother of Robert V. Antonaccio of Coventry, and Darlene J. Weiss and her husband Gordon of Summerville, South Carolina. Alice was the grandmother of Michael Antonaccio (Rachel), Melissa Gorman (David), Adam Weiss (Jenna) and Tyler Weiss; and the great-grandmother of Jillian and Nicholas Gorman. Alice was the sister of the late William Grechoski.

 

At the family’s request, services followed by interment at Saint Mary Cemetery in West Warwick will be private. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted, memorial donations to the Westview Nursing Home Patient Activities fund, 239 Legris Avenue, West Warwick, RI 02893 would be appreciated.
