Alfreda (Pencak) Farias, of North Providence, Dies at 96

Farias, Alfreda (Pencak), 96, of North Providence, died on January 1, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Edward Drzal. 

Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Louise (Skrzypek) Pencak.

Alfreda worked for R+J Manufacturing before retiring.  She then worked as a home health aide.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Drzal and his wife Paula of North Providence, two grandchildren Justin Drzal and Erica Tibbetts, and five great-grandchildren.  She also had two stepchildren, Jackie McKane and the late Brother William Farias.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:30 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. 

Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA.  Calling hours Wednesday 4-7 pm.
