President Donald Trump got into a heated argument with NBC's Kristen Welker and then stormed out of an interview on Meet the Press.

Trump became animated when the discussion turned to the January 6 attack on the Capitol building.

Welker became the host of Meet the Press in 2023.

She began her career in Providence at the now-defunct WLNE.

Trump cut off the interview after accusing NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN of being "crooked" over the President's claims about U.S. elections.

"You’re a one-sided crooked network," Trump told Welker. "Sorry. Let’s call it quits because I’ve had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time."
