With 36 inches of snow so far this winter, the city of Providence is currently the twelfth snowiest city in the United States according to GoldenSnowGlobe.com

The Top 25 Snowiest Cities in the U.S. is based on cities with a population of more than 100,000 people. According to the list, Providence typically sees only 19.9 inches of snow by this time of year on average.

Worcester, MA rates as the second snowiest city in the country with 72.5 inches of snow so far this year. Boston is also on the list in 7th place with 53.4 inches.
