American Airlines says it has resumed service Tuesday morning, after a “technical issue” had delayed all of its flights in the United States.

The company began boarding flights again at around 8 am ET, an airline spokesperson told CNN.

The Federal Aviation Administration lifted its nationwide groundstop order for all American flights. The FAA in a statement said American requested a nationwide ground stop but it referred all questions to the airline for more information.

According to Bloomberg, “Some online postings said that the airline was suffering a software outage preventing it from calculating weight and balance requirements for its flights. The carrier said in a separate post that it’s working on a fix and that it has no estimated time frame of a resolution.”
