A trapeze collapsed during a Ringling Brothers show at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence. According to witnesses at the show, as many as 10 trapeze artists fell approximately 100 feet and were injured.

Members of the crowd my also have been hurt.

Efforts to reach staff of the Dunk and Ringling Brother's have been unsuccessful.

Rhode Island Hospital spokesperson Jill Reuter confirmed, "We have 7 patients with various injuries at the hospital."

Reuter declined to comment on extent of injuries, and if they were performers or audience members.
