Sean Larkin of Revival Brewing Co. brings an expansion to Cranston, continuing to release more beer and now offering a full lunch and dinner menu.
Larkin’s growth and local support allowed him the opportunity to expand from a small brew room to a sprawling dining room where guests now have new food choices, and an ever-changing craft beer selection.
“We moved our taproom from the basement to the entirety of the restaurant. Eventually the whole restaurant will get a redesign, but for now, we have worked really hard to stabilize the food and the menu and delivering our version of street in its best essence. Street food to us is something you might find on a cart or late night spot,” says Larkin.
Larkin is a major supporter of the local food scene, and consistently joins forces with other businesses and restaurants for exclusive craft beer collaborations.
“Revival is trying to stay rooted in is the relationship between food and beer,” says Larkin. With partnerships with businesses such as White Electric, Brass Monkey, and Granny Squibb's, Revival is able to make custom recipes for an eclectic variety of craft beers.
Larkin’s new menu at Revival has been creating a buzz around Rhode Island with talk of a hot new ramen. This street food style dish is far from simple, says Larkin, “One of my favorite dishes growing up was ramen. For the pork belly ramen, we marinate it in beer the night before. We smoke it and braise it, thin slice it and add it to the ramen. There is a lot of thought that goes into what we do. People have been pretty psyched about it.”
With the warmer months coming up quickly, Larkin is planning on adding an outdoor seating area. “We are developing our patio into more of a beer garden. We will be adding vegetation, vining greens, to make the area more intimate.”
