LIVE: Access and Education Mission for Natural Sunscreen Founder
Sunday, June 11, 2017
“I felt every type of person needs access to safe effective sunscreen,” says Brian Guadagno, founder of Raw Elements, a certified natural sunscreen.
“With our brand, we really focus on outreach, education and making the sunscreen dynamic fun and engaging,” Guadagno says.
Raw Elements and Guadagno will have that opportunity to provide education and access to sunscreen through a partnership with the Town of Narragansett Parks and Recreation Department.

“It’s a great fit, it’s an opportunity for us to educate people on sun safety,” Guadagno says, as well as over exposure to the sun.
As a life guard at Narraganset beach since the age of 16, Guadagno, says he was never satisfied with using harsh chemical sunscreens, nor the caliber of natural protection on the market, so seven years ago, he created Raw Elements.
With no GMOs, certified natural, and cruelty-free, Guadagno says the certification process helps further validate the product and helps Raw Elements tell a story about the brand.
