Landing Frontier Airlines “Really Big Win for RI,” Says RI Airport Corp Chief Ahmad

Rhode Island Airport President and CEO Iftikhar Ahmad appeared on GoLocal LIVE on Thursday, a day after the announcement that the airport landed Frontier Airlines.
"It's a really big win for Rhode Island and the airport -- really, really low pricing to go to Denver and Orlando," said Ahmad. "If you have Facebook, please put it on -- take your whole family, let's use this service, so we can have even more $39 fares to go to the rest of the country."
"We'd really love to go Texas, Western U.S., Vegas, L.A., San Francisco -- there's a lot of places we could go they could take us," said Ahmad. "We're the only airport in New England that Frontier will service. All of this is pointing to here in the state, we're doing really well."
