When it comes to women’s fashion, Creative Director Bryce Reels is a leading Rhode Islander with her accessories company Fifth & Ninth. After finding success with creating a fashion blog in college, Reels put her artistic and fashion senses to work to help build a brand that is recognizable, and relatable.
“I am the creative director and lead designer, as well as the head of celebrity partnerships at Fifth & Ninth. I come up with all of the designs and brand aesthetic” says Reels. The fun and creative phone cases are often paired up with a celebrity and sport unique designs. Reels wants each phone case to be an extension of the customer, “We are carrying our phones twenty-four-seven. The phone case has become more interchangeable than it ever was. The customer wants something that is reflecting how they feel, but also be productive for their phone”.
By partnering with celebrities such as Brielle Biermann and Scotty Cunha, Fifth & Ninth is able to spread higher brand recognition and raise their following. Each celebrity assists Reels in the design of their own Fifth & Ninth phone case, so each accessory has a message behind it.
Reels shared her new line called “The Nudes Collection” exclusively with GoLocalProv, “It is all about body positivity, baring it all and embracing who you are and stripping it all down. There is beauty in simplicity. That is the inspiration I had when developing this line.” The line will be working with other charities and companies such as Dove to target this campaign towards body positivity.
In addition to being available for purchase online and in local retail shops, Fifth & Ninth announces that they are now being carried at Nordstrom online, a huge accomplishment for this Rhode Island-based business.
