Rhode Island native and founder of Lean Campaign Strategies in Washington, D.C. Spencer Sullivan joined GoLocal News Editor Kate Nagle on LIVE, where he spoke to the take on current events "inside the beltway" -- and how he sees the 2018 midterm elections shaping up.
"Two days ago you saw on CNN 57 percent think the country's on the right track - [that's] a strong number for the Republicans to rely on coming into midterms," said Sullivan.
"Midterms are the check and balance the current admin -- but if you're seeing the majority of American's thinking the country's on the right track, it'll make it more difficult for Democrats to 'run against Trump" in certain swing districts," said Sullivan.
