NEW: Bolt Coffee Leaving Dean Hotel in Providence

Initially offering coffee from a single cart at weddings and a downtown pop-up location in 2012, Bolt grew in the Providence community to three retail locations and a production facility on Smith Hill.
Owner Bryan Gibb shared the following on Thursday:

But I wanted to let you all know we will be wrapping up our time at @thedeanhotel at the end of this month. We’ve rocked a bit over 10 years in this 60 sqft little bar, and made some of the most special memories and relationships here. This is where the business started to take root and I’m so thankful for the past many years here.
So thankful to the crew over the years at The Dean (Anthony, Clay, Soso, Aarin, Mary, Chris, Jon, Jenna, Ari) The folks at Boombox, Magdelane Room(then Dean Bar) Faust (then North, then Thickneck) and too many of the most dear to me people who were customers and became friends. (You know who you are, but Donny, Jesse, Dahlia, Kendall, Sean, Lisa, ahhh too many more) and then the team who built this thing with me (Todd, Kacey, Justin, Mark) and then the folks who kept it rolling (Casey, Kamila, Ryan, Mike, Joe, Kayla and anyone who worked a shift).
As this chapter closes, I try to remind myself that change is unavoidable and beautiful. These special things are to be enjoyed moment by moment and they can’t stay forever- that’s what makes them special. Ok at this point I’m rambling and a little sentimental, but please expect nostalgic tshirts and mugs and hopefully some of the OG baristas to come out of retirement for a day. Maybe even a going away weekend of free everything. Love you all, and I’m so thankful to every one of you who supported this location and me in the earliest days and every day after. Long Live Bolt at The Dean."
