While much of the country faces an uncertain future relative to local journalism, GoLocal continues to grow as a primary news source.
Our coverage has dramatically expanded. Unlike other news organizations, GoLocal is not part of a national conglomerate. The company is founded by locals who are committed to the state -- not corporate interests.
GoLocal’s growth was fueled by better journalism -- better than we have ever been and often better than our competitors. We broke big stories -- the Rhode Island State Police investigation, St. Joseph pension fund collapse, Federal Hill violence, Ira Magaziner's relationship to Jeffrey Epstein, to name just a few.
