On Monday, GoLocal reported that one of the Providence metro area's premier waterfront restaurants is now being marketed for sale.

Formerly named Al's Waterfront Restaurant, the facility in East Providence has hit the market and the property includes a 72-slip marina.

Residential Properties is marketing the property that is on the market with an asking price of $2,795,000.

The building was first built in 1845 and was substantially renovated in 2014, according to marketing materials for the sale.
