Monday, March 19, 2018
Junior Achievement of Rhode Island will welcome 2,500 eighth grade students to the Convention Center as part of the JA Inspire Career Exploration Fair.
“The Governor’s Workforce Board (GWB) is proud to support the JA Inspire Career Fair. The Rhode Island economy is stronger than ever, but we hear from employers that still struggle to find talent. That’s why the GWB invests in building career pathways for youth and are excited to see JA lead the way to reach students before high school with career awareness and exploration. The GWB is proud to support JA Inspire to get students interested in and excited about the high-growth industries in Rhode Island, and we truly appreciate all the employers and industry representatives who are sharing their knowledge and experience with our students.” said Heather Hudson, executive director of the Governor’s Workforce Board.
The event will take place on Tuesday, March 27.
