Lincoln and Coventry are the final two teams remaining in the winners bracket of the Division I Fast Pitch Softball Tournament.
Lincoln, the top overall seed, has been the best team all year, compiling an overall record of 19-0 on the season. They recently beat Toll Gate convincingly in the winners bracket semifinals by a score of 12-0 to move into the winners bracket final.
Coventry, who's the third seed overall with a 15-4 record on the year, has proven that they will be a tough team to beat late in this tournament. Coventry beat second-seeded North Kingstown in the winners bracket semifinals by a score of 4-3. The Knotty Oakers are led by senior pitcher Kerrie DeLiberis, who surrendered just one hit over the final four innings in Coventry's win over North Kingstown.
