Zach Chionuma

Redshirt junior Zach Chionuma had a pretty solid game for Bryant off the bench.

In 24 minutes played, Chionuma had 11 points and two rebounds. His 11 points is good enough for Bryant's second leading scorer in the game.

The Bulldogs have needed help off their bench all season and they will be hoping Chionuma can do this on a consistent basis.

Points in the Paint

Yale is a bigger team then Bryant and so it is not surprising  that Yale was able to dominate the points in the paint category.

They outscored Bryant 34-22 in the paint in this game and outrebounded the Bulldogs 38-28 including 12-8 on the offensive glass.

Dan Garvin and Joe O'Shea each pulled down seven rebounds for Bryant, nobody else on the team had more then three.

Free Throws

Bryant has to do a better job of getting to the free throw line and that comes from getting to the basket, not shooting jump shots. In this game The Bulldogs only shot six free throws the entire night and made four of them.

Starks only shot two free throws in the game.

Meanwhile, Yale shot 26 free throws in the contest and made 16 of them. The Bulldogs lost this game by seven points and the free throw line is just one of the things that made a big difference.
