Sky Chiefs Sign Former URI Forward Outerbridge

The Providence Sky chiefs have signed former University of Rhode Island forward Orion Outerbridge, Sky Chiefs General Manager Tony Lopes announced on Friday.
“Orion has size, can shoot, is extremely athletic and has the ability to get to the rim and finish with relative ease,” said Lopes of his new acquisition.
The 6'9" Outerbridge comes to the Sky Chiefs, where he will join former URI teammates Keith Cothran and Jason Francis, after playing professionally overseas in Europe.

After their New York visit, the Sky Chiefs will visit Miami, Florida for back to back games against the Miami Midnites on January 10 and 11.
Providence is currently 8-2 on the season and ranked 11 out of 76 teams in the ABA.
