Turnovers are the great equalizer in football. Salve Regina learned that the hard way Saturday.
The Seahawks committed 5 turnovers (3 fumbles, 2 interceptions) and lost to Framingham State 28-16 in the New England Football Conference championship game Saturday in Framingham, Mass.
Down 14-10 at the half, the Seahawks committed all five of their turnovers in the second half preventing any chance of a comeback.

Despite the loss, Salve Regina compiled an impressive 9-2 record this season.
