RI High School Hockey Playoff Reset- 12 Teams Left Skating
Wednesday, March 12, 2014
Jack Andrade, GoLocalProv Sports Reporter
The first weekend of high school hockey playoffs is in the books, and 12 teams are left skating as the 2013-14 season approaches it's climax. The Division 3 Tournament starts this weekend, and the Division 1 and State Championship Finals kick off this weekend as well. 4 teams remain in Division 2 and Division 3.
The first weekend went relatively smoothly, as the higher ranked team in GoLocalProv's Power Pack won each matchup except for one (Burrillville over Barrington). The odds of that happenning 2 weeks in a row are slim, so the favorites should be on upset alert over the next few days.
