Revs, D.C. United Play to 1-1 Draw at Gillette

The New England Revolution (5-3-5) and the (6-2-4) D.C. United played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium. With the draw, D.C. United stays in first place in the Eastern Conference and two points ahead of the Revolution.
Charlie Davies found the back of the net on a rebound in the first minute of stoppage time before the first half came to a close to give the Revs a 1-0 lead.
However, in the second half, the Revolution saw both Chris Tierney and Lee Nguyen sent off with red cards early in the frame. The Revs would have to go the rest of the way with just nine men.

The Revs return to action on Sunday May, 31 when they host the LA Galaxy in a rematch of last year's MLS Title Game. The game is set to kick off at 7 p.m.
