Revolution get Shut Out by Union 4-0 at Gillette

The New England Revolution (6-10-8) fell 4-0 to the (9-8-7) Philadelphia Union on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium. The Revs have now lost three straight games and have given up 11 goals in that period. 

The Union got on the board early when C.J. Sapong scored in the second minute of the game off of a cross from Fabinho. The Union led 1-0 at the half. 

In the second half, Philly exploded for three goals starting with Chris Pontius in the 51st minute, followed by Richie Marquez in the 54th and Roland Alberg in extra time.

The Revs return to action on Saturday, August 20 when they host the Columbus Crew at Gillette Stadium. 

Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
