Minecraft is one of, if not the most, popular video games of all time with over 33 million registered users.

The Providence Community Library hosts a Minecraft server in which anyone with a Minecraft login  can access and explore a virtual model of Knight Memorial Library.

The Library has participated in these tournaments before on International Games Day. They have held a Pokemon tournament, a life sized Candyland board game along with more traditional games like chess.
