Providence Fullcourt Boardroom Hosting Summer Weekend of Stars
The Providence Fullcourt Boardroom (PFB) has put together the "Summer Weekend of Stars," an exciting weekend of events from August 9-12 that will benefit PC basketball charities.
Several PC basketball legends will be involved, including MarShon Brooks, Ernie DiGregorio, Ryan Goms, Eric Murdock, God Shammgod, Dickey Simpkins, Jamel Thomas, Otis Thorpe, and Jeff Xavier, among many more.
The weekend begins with the PFB Summer Weekend of Stars Launch Party at Ladder 133 in Providence on Thursday, August 9.

The launch party is followed by the PFB Stars Billiards Invitational at Snookers Sports Billiards Bar and Grill in Providence on Friday, with an after party being held at View Lounge.
On Saturday, the main event, the "PFB Stars Golf Invitational," will be held at Cranston Country Club, with an awards reception to follow.
All of it is capped off by "PFB Summer Weekend of Stars Saturday Night" at the Whiskey Republic in Providence.
Proceeds from the entire weekend will benefit the MarShon Brooks Foundation, Ryan Gomes' Hoops for Heart Health Foundation, and the PFB Scholarships for Ed Cooley Basketball Camp.
The Providence Fullcourt Boardroom was founded in the summer of 2011 by Sean Holley (PC '84) and Dickie Simpkins (PC '94). Its mission is to use PC connections to benefit the community at large.
"Our initial year has been as significant as envisioned," said Dickie Simpkins. "We are thrilled about the weekend and the strong support from our Providence family. Sean has put together an exciting schedule of events that all attending should find enjoyable and leave with anticipation for next summer's event!"
