Providence North End 49ers Headed to National Title Game

The Providence North End 49ers Youth Football team defeated the Walpole Golden Knights 14-8 at Stellows Stadium in New Hampshire on Sunday evening to punch their ticket to the American Youth Football National Championship game. The Game will be played on December 7 down in Florida.
Great Game
Providence 49ers quarterback Eric Palmer Jr. connected with his main target, wide receiver, Tyric Lowe, on a crucial 4th and goal from the Walpole five yard line to put the 49ers up 14-8 and seal the game and a trip to Florida for the National title.

The 49ers trailed 8-0 at the half but came out in the second half and turned things around.
Early in the third quarter, Providence got an 88 yard kickoff return for a touchdown from Travaughn Famogun to cut their deficit to just two points after a missed extra point. From there, the 49ers defense held Walpole the rest of the way, shutting down their passing game.
History has been Made
This year's Providence 49ers are the first team in the organization's history to win New England Regionals and go to the National Championship game.
"Now we eyeing the National Championship," Lamarque added.
Time to Prepare
The 49ers will now have two weeks to prepare for the National Championship game.
