PC vs. URI Ranked as Top 30 Non-Conference Game in Country

The December 5th game between the URI Rams and Providence College Friars has been ranked as one of the top 30 non-conference games of the season by CBS Sports.
About the game, CBS Sports said "few venues will rival that nut house-like vibe that will be happening at the Ryan Center when this game is played," they continue "these teams' fan bases absolutely despise each other. The smallest state has some of the biggest hate."
PC has won five straight and six of the last seven games against URI, including last season's 68-60 win at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

The URI Rams will open their season tonight at the Ryan Center against American while the Friars will kick off their season on Saturday, November 14th against Harvard at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
Tip-off for the URI game is set for 8 p.m. while the Friars will tip-off at 7 p.m.
