PC Gets 31 Points From Bullock in 89-75 Win Over Sacred Heart

The Providence College Friars got a season-high 31 points from Rodney Bullock en route to an 89-75 win over Sacred Heart on Friday night at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.
The 31 points mark Bullock's second career 30 point game and just five points shy of his career-high.

PC Holds off Sacred Heart
After leading 49-32 at the half, the Friars opened up their largest lead of the game, 76-56, with 6:58 to play in the game following a Kalif Young layup.
Sacred Heart got within nine points, 81-72, with 2:31 to play in the game before Bullock pushed the PC lead back to double digits by converting a layup with 2:01 to play.
However, Sacred Heart would get it right back when Sean Hoehn knocked down a three on the Sacred Heart’s next possession to cut the Friars lead to eight, 83-75, with 1:39 to go.
Providence would seal the game on the free throw line with Jalen Lindsey knocking down two free throws and Isaiah Jackson making one of two.
Jackson finished the scoring by knocking down a three with 13 seconds left. He had 17 points, six rebounds, and six assists in the game.
Sacred Heart would get as close as eight points with just over a minute to play before Providence sealed the game at the free throw line.
Next up
The Friars return to action Thursday, December 28 when they open up conference play against the St. John's Red Storm in New York.
Game time is set for 7 p.m.
