NEW: Mohegan Sun Acquires Pro Lacrosse Franchise

The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority is bringing a professional lacrosse franchise to the Mohegan Sun casino, according to multiple media reports.
The New London Day and Hartford Courant were first to report the news. A press conference has been called for Wednesday to announce a new professional sports team coming to Mohegan Sun.
The new franchise is reportedly a member of the National Lacrosse League, an indoor lacrosse league featuring 9 teams made up predominantly by Canadian players.
