The Bryant Bulldogs (2-1) fell 31-17 to #1 (4-0) Coastal Carolina on Saturday night in South Carolina.
Bryant tied the game at 17 in the second quarter when Ricardo McCray ran it in from five yards out with 31 seconds left in the half.
However, Coastal Carolina would score 14 straight points spanning from the 4:17 mark of the third quarter to the 2:15 mark of the fourth quarter to pull away.

Bryant jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter after Dalton Easton found Matt Sewall on a 50 yard pass with 4:47 left in the quarter.
However, Coastal Carolina would score the next 17 points to go up 17-10 and take back control of the game.
Good Showing for Bryant
Despite the loss, the Bulldogs had a solid showing against the #1 team in the country, on the road.
Bryant quarterback Dalton Easton went 25-40 for 291 yards and a touchdown while running back Ricardo McCray had 15 carries for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Bryant returns to action on Saturday, October 3rd when they visit Monmouth. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
