When the Patriots visit the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night, they will see old friend Chandler Jones. The Patriots traded Jones for guard Jonathan Cooper and a second round draft pick in March.

With the Cardinals, Jones plays mostly on the end of the defensive line.

Their outside linebackers rush quite a bit, so there is some coverage, but their outside linebackers are predominantly rushers, so a lot of times they're bringing five people,” said Bill Belichick earlier this week.
Chandler Jones in New England
Jones was drafted by the Patriots in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft and has recorded 36 sacks in 55 career games with New England.
He was set to make $7.79 million this upcoming season as part of a 5th year option on his rookie contract, which expired after the 2016 season.
However in January of 2016, Jones was hospitalized after showing up to the Foxborough Police station for a medical emergency. It was further reported that Jones had a bad reaction to synthetic marijuana.
Jones was not disciplined for the situation and played out the remainder of the Patriots playoff run.
