Hassan Martin Leaves Game, URI Falls 65-54 to Davidson

The URI Rams (15-13, 7-8 A10) fell 65-54 to (17-9, 9-6 A10) Davidson on Tuesday night in North Carolina. The Rams have now lost three of their last four games.
During the game, URI lost Hassan Martin to knee tendonitis. An injury that he has been battling all season. Martin only played 10 minutes in the game and did not play the entire second half.

The Rams got off to a slow start in the first half and that is what cost them.
URI was up 4-3 two minutes into the game before Davidson went on a 17-2 run to take a 20-6 lead with just under 12 minutes to play.
During Davidson's run, the Rams went scoreless for about six minutes, taking all jump shots.
Rhody trailed 32-24 at the half and got as no closer than six, 45-39, in the second half.
The Leaders
Jared Terrell led URI with 13 points on 4 of 13 shooting from the field while also grabbing 5 rebounds.
Early Watson followed up with 9 points on 3 of 5 shooting from the field and 9 rebounds in 20 minutes of action off the bench.
Next up
URI returns to action on Saturday, February 27 when they visit Dayton. Tip off is set for noon time and the game can be seen on ESPN2.
