GoLocal Sports makes the call

Friday, September 28, 2012

Unlike some of the indecision displayed by replacement officials in the NFL...GoLocal Sports never hesitates to make a call.

GoLocal Sports Editors John Rooke and Scott Cordischi (Cordischi calls in from the road with Brown football this week) recap the historical week in the NFL, with replacement officials "replaced" themselves by the regular referees.  Is there more to this story, or is it back to business as usual?  The debate continues.

Perhaps stunningly, the Patriots find themselves with a losing record this deep into a season for the first time in almost a decade.  And if they lose this week in Buffalo, do they stay the course...or should changes be on the horizon?

Now that the end of the baseball season (around here, at least) is in sight, what is Priority One for the Red Sox?  A new manager?  Re-sign David Ortiz?  Overhaul it all?

And we're another week closer to the local college basketball season getting started, recruits are coming in and the future looks bright - but what about the present?

Questions, questions, questions.  We've got some answers, do you?  Join us for GoLocal Sports on 103.7 FM, Saturday morning from 7:00 to 9:00 am...call in at (401) 737-1287, text 850850, email golocal@weei.com - or send a tweet to @jrooke0722!
