Former PC Star Bryce Cotton Signs Multi-year Deal With Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz have signed former Friars star Bryce Cotton to a multi year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not released, per team policy. 

Prior to agreeing to terms on a multi year deal, Cotton signed two 10-day contracts beginning on Feb. 24. Since then, Bryce Cotton has appeared in three games for the Jazz and has averaged 1.7 points in four minutes per game. 

Prior to his NBA call up, Bryce Cotton played for the Austin Spurs in the NBA Development League where he averaged 22 points, five rebounds and five assists per game in 40 minutes of play.

Cotton was named the D-League Performer of the Week on Feb. 23. 

Bryce Cotton spent four years at Providence College and led the Friars to the 2014 Big East Championship and their first NCAA Tournament appearance in a decade. The Friars lost in the first round to North Carolina, however, Cotton poured in 26 points for the Friars ina heartbreaking 79-77 loss.

Bryce Cotton went undrafted in the 2014-15 draft.
