"The All Star Girls Softball team is made up of residents from the Southside of Providence, an area that’s far too often seen in the news lately as being riddled with violence. We at the Rhode Island Young Professionals want to highlight some of the great things and people in Providence in spite of the recent surge of violence. As part of our mission it is important to demonstrate that if children can find an outlet through recreational activities, not only will they stay out of trouble, their strengths and successes will increase and thus make them unstoppable!"
