Edelman to Visit Children’s Hospital

Monday, May 19, 2014

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will visit Hasbro Children’s Hospital Tuesday to help kickoff Dunkin’ Donuts’ Iced Coffee Day - which is being celebrated on Wednesday.

The event is focused on the children at Hasbro and their families.

The event has raised over $633,000 for the Children’s Hospital since 2010. The funds have been used on several upgrades to the hospital’s facilities, and this year’s program will help build a new neighborhood and family safety program in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts.

Edelman leads a host of Patriots’ contingents coming to support the event, including Pat Patriot and the Patriots’ cheerleaders. Doctors, patients, parents, and Dunkin’ Donuts staff will also be present for a photo op and meet and greet.

50 cents of each iced coffee purchased Wednesday will be donated to benefit the Children’s Hospital.

PLEASE NOTE: Edelman's visit is a private event for the children at the hospital.
