Bryant Set to Battle Monmouth on ESPN3

The Bryant University Bulldogs (2-1) on the road once again this week as they visit the (1-3) Monmouth Hawks of the Big South. Monmouth leads the all-time series with Bryant 5-1. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. and the game will be streamed live on ESPN3
Bryant is coming off of a 31-17 loss on the road to #1 Coastal Carolina last week but despite the lost, the Bulldogs played well. Bryant had a 10-0 lead early in the game and tied the game up at 17 before Carolina pulled away for the win.
Meanwhile, Monmouth is also coming off a loss as they fell 54-31 to #16 Fordham on the road last weekend.

For Bryant to get the win, it is going to start on the defensive side of the ball.
The Hawks come in averaging 23 points and 358 yards per game. Quarterback Cody Williams has completed 61 percent of his passes for 785 yards and three touchdowns in four games this season while rushing for 133 yards.
The biggest reason for the Hawks success on offense is their offensive line. Monmouth has five players that are all over 6'3" and 300 pounds.
Monmouth's size will be the biggest problem for the Bryant defense.
How Bryant Wins This Game - Offense
On the offensive side of the ball, Bryant should be able to take advantage of the Monmouth secondary who have given up an average of 259 passing yards per game, ranking them 92nd in the country.
The Monmouth defense has given up at least 25 points in every game except one.
Expect Bryant quarterback Dalton Easton and junior wide receiver Taylor Barthelette to have a good game for the Bulldogs.
