The Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team has announced the completion of their 2020 recruiting class on Thursday, with 5 incoming recruits set come to Bryant.

"Overall it's a very strong class that gives us exactly what we needed. When you combine this group of players with last year's class that included the NEC Rookie of the Year with Marcel and Nisre making the NEC All-Rookie Team, along with the return of guys like Dan Garvin as a senior,Hunter Ware as a junior and Gus Riley to name a few, it makes me feel confident that we have the pieces in place to make a serious run at a league title," said Bryant head coach Tim O'Shea.

The 2020 class includes two guards, a forward and an outside shooter as well as another forward.

Adam Grant

Grant is a 6'1" guard from Norfolk Virginia who averaged 16 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds per game at Norfolk Collegiate School.

He's an elite athlete with a tremendous motor and he's a dynamic scorer. He's also an outstanding defender because of that athleticism and it's something that will allow him to be an impact player right away. For a high school player, his commitment to defense is special and will be a key addition to this team," said O'Shea.

Tanner Johnson

Johnson is a 6'5" small forward from Lexington, Kentucky but played his high school ball at Worcester Academy following a career at Lexington Catholic.

"Tanner is a game-changing shooter. I did not see a better shooter in prep basketball this year and he is probably one of the best shooters that I've recruited. He has a very good feel for the game and his ability to stretch a defense is something that we feel teams will right away need to worry about. He has a chance to be an outstanding player," O'Shea said.

Ikenna Ndugba

Ndugba is a 5'11" point guard from Boston and played his high school ball at Brooks School.  In his senior season, he averaged 13 points, 6.5 assists, 4 steals and 6 rebounds per game.

On Ndugba, O'Shea said, "He has a chance to be an elite point guard who will have an impact right away. He's a true point guard with excellent court vision and a real sense for the game. His maturity is unique for a player of his age."

Sebastian Townes

Townes is a 6'6" forward from Norfolk, Virginia where he attended Norfolk Collegiate School. Townes averaged 19.5 points and 11 rebounds per game in his career.

"He has great hands and a nice feel for scoring whether it is inside or out. He's an undersized power forward but a guy who can score from the perimeter and the interior. He will certainly be able to push guys for minutes right away," O'Shea said.

Mantvydas "Monty" Urmilevicius

Urmilevicius is a 6'8" forward from Lithuania but played his high school ball in Maryland at The John Carroll School.

"He has really good fundamentals and comes from a great high school program. He is a player that has the ability to make people around him better which we feel he'll do immediately," O'Shea said.

Bryant

The Bulldogs are coming off of a 2015-16 campaign in which they went 8-23 overall and 5-13 in the NEC after starting conference play with a 4-1 record.

Bryant closed the season by losing 12 of their final 13 games.
