Tuesday, the Bears were picked to finish third in the Ivy League's preseason media poll behind defending champion Penn and Harvard.

Brown returns experienced players at many key positions including quarterback where senior Patrick Donnelley hopes to lead the Bears to their 4th championship under head coach Phil Estes since 1999.

Ironically, in Brown's last two championship seasons (2005, 2008), the Bears were picked to finish third in the preseason poll.  In 1999, Brown was tabbed second in that same poll.

Brown's schedule is highlighted by three night games: at Harvard on September 28th, home against Rhode Island on October 5th and home against Princeton on October 19th.  The Bears also host defending champion Penn on November 2nd.

Brown kicks off the 2013 season at home against Georgetown on September 21st at 12:30pm at Brown Stadium.
