Monday, February 17, 2014
Though the Bruins are on hiatus for the Olympic Games in Sochi, great professional hockey can still be found in New England. The NHL's minor league, the American Hockey League, brings exciting hockey action to many of the regions cities. Found within that action are some great old-fashioned hockey fights.
Sunday, the Portland Pirates and Adirondack Phantoms gave us quite the bout. With less than a minute remaining in their matchup, a brawl erupted across the ice, clearing the benches, and resulting in 10 major penalties… even the goalies got involved in the action.
