5 Takeaways From the Patriots Loss to Denver

The New England Patriots (10-1) fell 30-24 to the (9-2) Denver Broncos on Sunday night in Denver.The Patriots are now 9-20 all-time in Denver.
"Really proud of way our team fought tonight, tremendous effort from everyone. There are things we could have done better, could have coached better, but they played hard. I have tremendous respect for this football team.," said Patriots head coach Bill Belichick in his post game press conference.
Gronkowski Injury
GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTWith three minutes left, Rob Gronkowski took a shot to the knee and was carted off the field after rolling around on the field in pain. Gronkowski was ruled out for the rest of the game immediatley.
Following the game, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Gronkowski's injury was not as serious as it appeared.
Multiple reports have stated that Gronkowski was in the locker room after the game and was seen walking under his own power.
More information is expected to come today.
Undefeated No More
Down 24-21 with just second left, Brady led the Patriots offense down the field and into field goal range. Stephen Gostkowski came on and kicked a 47 yard field goal to tie the game at 24 and send it to over time.
In the over time period, the Patriots got the ball first but exited the field quickly with a three and out.
On Denver's possession, Osweiler hand the ball to C.J. Anderson on third and one and Anderson took it 48 yards for the walk off touchdown.
The Patriots had two 14 point leads in the game, including a 14 point lead in the fourth quarter before allowing Denver to come back.
The Leaders
Tom Brady threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns in the game, completing 23 of 42 passes.
Rob Gronkowski led the Patriots with six receptions for 88 yards and a touchdowns.
Next Up
The Patriots return to action on Sunday, December 6th when they host the Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium. Kick off is set for 4:25 p.m.
