Kris Dunn and the PC Men's Basketball team are must-see in '16.

The Friars have arguably the best point guard and player in college basketball in Kris Dunn and have received significant contributions from sophomore Ben Bentil and Rodney Bullock, and have recorded twelve wins before Christmas for the first time in program history.  Currently ranked nationally at number 12 in the country in the AP Poll and 13 in the Coaches Poll, PC has been ranked for 5 straight weeks.

Now, the bourgeoning program, which announced in November a nearly $40 million investment for a new athletic facility that will connect to Alumni Hall with construction is expected to start in Spring of 2016 is entering into conference play -- making the 2016 portion of the season must-see basketball from here on out.

Providence begins Big East conference play on New Years Eve when they visit #9 Butler, with tip off set for 2:30 p.m.  PC's first conference home game will be Saturday, January 2 when they host St. John's at 3:30 p.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

Coming into the season, people knew Dunn was a top player to watch -- no one knew what to expect from the Friars or what the season or team was going to look like. Now, Providence is THE team to watch heading into 2016.
