Providence Place Lights Up for Black Friday

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Straight on 'til morning: the sales start at 12:30am at Providence Place this year

For those who think that Black Friday is about cold parking lots in the dark outside Big Box stores, think again.

Bright, warm, fabulous Providence Place will be lighting up for Black Friday this week at 12:30am, and there's a whole bunch of shopping to do. Here's the skinny on what's up, where, and when. Grab your girlfriends, stay up with a hot latte, and spend the night (and the rest of the day!) working the sales. Note: hardcore fans will need to park on city streets... the garage opens at 4am.

12:30am: Early birds (or night owls)
It's an all-star lineup while the stars are still out. The earliest openings this year are Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale (50% off your entire purchase among other great deals), ALDO Accessories, American Eagle Outfitters (the deal is still a secret but word is you won't want to miss it), Ann Taylor, Arden B., Aveda, Bakers (Buy One Get One 50% off everything until 11am), Express (40% off the entire store until noon), The Gap family (Gap, BabyGap, and GapKids), Hollister, Levi's, Macy's, Old Navy, RadioShack, Victoria's Secret, Wet Seal (a FREE gift with purchase of $35 or more until noon, then top secret deals all day).

4am: More fun + coffee
The Children's Place opens its doors at 4 with 30% off everything until 2pm, including sale and clearance items. JCPenney also opens up. Need a shot of caffeine and a coffee roll? Dunkin Donuts is open.

5am: BR in the house
Attention fashionistas. Banana Republic is open, with 40% off your entire purchase until 1pm.

6am: Official opening of the mall, plus a flash sale at LoveSAC
LoveSAC offers 30% off everything for just one hour and then 10% off for the rest of the day, so hit this one first on your 6am pass.

7am: Nordstrom!
Still awake? Be glad you are, because Nordstrom is open!

Keeping it going?
Regular store hours bring a whole new wave of deals, some of them absolutely stupendous. For one, Sephora is offering its first ever Black Friday sale: 10 select products for $10 each. Ann Taylor LOFT has 40% off the entire store, J.Crew has 25% off a purchase of $150 or more, J.Jill has 50% off luxe sweaters. Vera Bradley is giving away a Special Edition Holiday Tote in Suzani with every $100 purchase. And H&M will give its first 200 customers a scratch ticket for up to $300 value. Plus, Ben & Jerry's can keep you going with some sweet deals, including buy 1 get 1 free gourmet hot chocolates.

Happy shopping!

Note: more stores may add early hours before Black Friday kicks off, so check in here for updates.

Well there ia one error in your article...The garage doesn't open at 4 am. It is open 24 hours.
