Once again the for-profits come to the public trough asking for taxpayer money to pay for a duplicate educational system. Better bells and better whistles? I guess this is why the NY Times investigative story showed that charter schools have greater administrative cost than public schools. Guess you guys have to pay executive salaries. But then again you can't support the existing school system, can't support after school programs in the urban core, you have to build your own clubhouse to cash in on the novelty of the kids with the uniforms and the corporate songs. Why is it charters can't keep science ad math teachers? How come the kids that public schools have to accept - you reject? What is plainly clear is, David Cicilline is not a good person. He has lied to the people of the 1st District and all of Rhode Island, time and time again. He is disengenuous and not honorable. There have been way too many lies to move past. He cannot be trusted to tell the truth. That makes him bad - period.
