video: ACLU Defends Longtime Medical Marijuana Users Against State

The ACLU filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health for denying patients access to medical marijuana, alleging the department is not following its own statues.

The lawsuit claims that the Department of Health abbruptly stopped accepting endorsements from registered nurse practitioners and physician assistants over the summer of 2012. The medical marijuana program was passed into law in 2006 and has accepted the signatures of registered nurse practioners and physican assistants throughout those six years.
