NEW: RI Housing Names Nelson Estevez Realtor of the Quarter

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

RE/MAX Professional Nelson Estevez has been named Realtor of the Quarter by Rhode Island Housing.

Rhode Island Housing has recognized Nelson Esteves and the entire team at RE/MAX Professionals, East Greenwich office, with the Realtor of the Quarter Award for their efforts on behalf of first-time and now non-first-time homebuyers. This is the first time Esteves has been saluted for connecting homebuyers with the Rhode Island Housing Loan Center.

“We are pleased to be honoring Nelson Esteves and RE/MAX Professionals. We rely on real estate professionals to help homebuyers navigate the complicated process of buying a home,” said Cathleen Paniccia, Director of Homeownership for Rhode Island Housing.

More loan options

“I was very excited to learn that I had been selected as the Realtor of the Quarter from Rhode Island Housing. I really enjoy working with the Loan Center staff and appreciate the recent changes Rhode Island Housing has made to provide even more loan options that Rhode Islanders can afford,” Esteves said. “Rhode Island Housing’s flexible loans, especially their 100% financing option, provide real estate agents with the tools to put Rhode Islanders in the homes of their dreams.”

Rhode Island Housing, which turns 40 years old in 2013, fully understands that one of the most significant investments a person will ever make is in a home. The Loan Center specializes in providing mortgages and key services to help homebuyers take this important step.

Esteves, who has been a licensed Rhode Island real estate agent for 10 years, added: “I share this award with my team, homebuyers who have benefited from the opportunities Rhode Island Housing has provided and with staff members in the Loan Center who have helped me day in and day out.”
