Multi-Family Home Prices Up Again

Shopping for a deal on a multi-family home in Rhode Island? It's getting harder to find one.
Prices are up in the multi-family market with a 32 percent increase from $82,000 in May 2009 to $107,900 in May 2010. Even distressed sales have declined. They made up only 63 percent of all multi-family transactions in May 2010 down from 79 percent at the same time in 2009. The median price of a non-distressed multi-family in May 2010 was $160,000, up from $123,750 last month.
