Communication from His Honor the Mayor, dated November 7, 2016, Informing the Honorable Members of the City Council that pursuant to Section 302(b) of the Providence Home Rule Charter of 1980, as amended, and Article II, Section 2, of the Providence Business Loan Fund, Inc. bylaws, he is this day appointing Chief of Staff Nicole Pollock as his designee on the Providence Business Loan Fund, Inc. Board of Directors.

An Ordinance in Amendment of and in addition to Chapter 1984-17 of the Ordinances of the City of Providence, Approved March 9, 1984 and Entitled: "An Ordinance Approving and Adopting the Official Redevelopment Plan for Upper South Providence Redevelopment Project," for additional Acquisition. (Sponsored by Councilwoman Harris and Councilman Principe)

Resolution Requesting to cancel or abate in whole, the taxes assessed upon Assessor's Plat 63, Lot 594 (251 Amherst Street), in the amount of Twelve Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Nine Dollars and Forty ($12,369.40) Cents, or any taxes accrued, on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island-Greater Providence.
7. Resolution Requesting to cancel or abate in whole, the taxes assessed upon Assessor's Plat 49, Lot 407 (273 Bucklin Street), in the amount of Six Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Nine Dollars and Eighty Seven ($6,929.87) Cents, or any taxes accrued, on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island-Greater Providence.
8. Resolution Requesting to cancel or abate in whole, the taxes assessed upon Assessor's Plat 53, Lot 15 (31 Elma Street), in the amount of Two Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Seven Dollars and Thirty Six ($2,887.36) Cents, or any taxes accrued, on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island-Greater Providence.
9. Resolution Requesting to cancel or abate in whole, the taxes assessed upon Assessor's Plat 23, Lot 105 (379 Friendship Street), in the amount of Eight Thousand Seventy Dollars and Twenty Nine ($8,070.29) Cents, or any taxes accrued, on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island-Greater Providence.
10. Resolution Requesting to cancel or abate in whole, the taxes assessed upon Assessor's Plat 63, Lot 105 (26 Hannah Street), in the amount of Seven Hundred Sixty Seven Dollars and Fifty Eight ($767.58) Cents, or any taxes accrued, on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island-Greater Providence.
11. Resolution Requesting to cancel or abate in whole, the taxes assessed upon Assessor's Plat 45, Lot 705 (19 Mt. Vernon Street), in the amount of Nine Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Seven Dollars and Twenty Nine ($9,487.29) Cents, or any taxes accrued, on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island-Greater Providence.
12. Resolution Requesting to cancel or abate in whole, the taxes assessed upon Assessor's Plat 48, Lot 392 (33 Ocean Street), in the amount of Seven Hundred Eighty Dollars and Seventy One ($780.71) Cents, or any taxes accrued, on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island-Greater Providence.

Resolution Requesting to cancel or abate in whole, the taxes assessed upon Assessor's Plat 95, Lot 407 (52 Ortoleva Drive), in the amount of Seven Hundred Ninety Six Dollars and Forty Seven ($796.47) Cents, or any taxes accrued, on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island-Greater Providence.

Resolution Requesting the Traffic Engineer to cause the installation of "No Parking Anytime" Signs on the odd side of Fairfield Avenue from Manton Avenue to Richland Street.
16. Councilman Correia, Councilwoman Matos
Resolution Authorizing His Honor the Mayor to execute an agreement between the City of Providence, on behalf of the Providence Water Supply Board, and the East Smithfield Water District, for the annexation of the District's water supply system to the water supply system of PWSB, and the merger of the District into PWSB, and to execute any other documents in furtherance of effectuating said annexation and merger.
