Who won the debate? Cicilline or Gemma

  •     3452 vote - Anthony Gemma
  •     986 vote - David Cicilline

Last night's Democratic debate for the 1st Congressional seat was full of fireworks. It pitted first-term Congressman David Cicilline versus businessman Anthony Gemma.

The past few weeks the campaign has turned explosive and negative with high-power charges by Gemma of illegal and unethical behavior by David Cicilline.

Now, your turn to express your opinion as to who won the debate.

I can tell you who lost: Rhode Island

Finally! A task for Gemma's millions of Facebook and Twitter followers abroad.

Doherty won that debate...let's hope!

Christopher McAuliffe

Cicilline is fundamentally loathsome, of course, but let's get real.... he didn't just win that debate, it was a TKO. Not pretty at all.

John Locke

The tasteless way Cicilline's supporters booed and heckled was terrible!

Is this who we want representing us?

I did not hear Anthony supporters boo david (just laughed at him a little).

But this was the worst debate audience I have ever heard!

Bernie McCrink

Does anyone actually believe 4000 distinctly different people have voted here since this was posted?

Just shows how lame the site actually is. Why don't they restrict to one vote per member?

Edward Smith

@Bernie, here is where it would normally help to have a million social media friends - here or abroad. By that measure Gemma is about 997,000 votes short.
